Where is Redwood Shores?
Redwood Shores is situated halfway between San Francisco and San Jose. An affluent and beautiful waterfront community located in the County of San Mateo, California.
Redwood Shores was built up from the marshes of San Francisco Bay in the 1960s, much like its neighbor, Foster City.
From the 1968 to 1986, Marin World/Africa U.S.A Amusement Park was located in Redwood Shores, the park moved to Vallejo, California and is known as Six Flags Discovery Kingdom. The former location of Marine World has evolved into posh homes and town-homes, condominiums, apartments, parks, preserved land, and Silicon Valley business parks and headquarters; including Oracle and Electronic Arts.
